Chaos

"The nature of Chaos is neither good nor evil, it simply mirrors the survivalist emotions of the intelligent beings in the real universe. Thus, the predatory entities of Chaos, be they gods or daemons, exist because living things generate these emotions. So when the human mind turns to petty and evil thoughts the powers of the Chaos gods grow and coalesce into hideous forms shaped by human lust, greed, anger, and fear."
- Warhammer: Realm of Chaos, 1997 (copyright Games Workshop)

Dark Elves

Dark Elves are the dark cousins of the High Elves. Originally both elven kindred were united as a single people, living in the island nation of Ulthuan, but a civil war was fought between the forces of Malekith - the Prince of Nagarythe and son of Aenarion - and the forces of Caledor, the elected Phoenix King. The war eventually led to the Sundering, which left Nagarythe destroyed and drove the Dark Elves out of Ulthuan to the cold land of Naggaroth.

Dwarfs

Dwarfs are short stocky humanoids who possess remarkable levels of strength toughness and endurance.

Empire

Empire is not held back by tradition to the extent of the Dwarfs or Elves. Having yet to succumb to any threat, external or internal. It is the faith, the sense of righteousness, and the indomitable spirit of its citizens which gives the Empire strength, as well as the organisation and ruthless efficiency of its military and religious orders.

Greenskins

Greenskins are a barbaric and primitive group of races which often band together to invade the lands of more civilised cultures.

High Elves

High Elves are tall, fair and slender in comparison to humans. They are almost physically flawless and rarely succumb to disease or mutation and can live for hundreds even thousands of years. They are usually seen as being arrogant, aloof, and overly concerned with beauty and art, a reputation which is not completely unfounded for in return they generally view themselves as being superior to other races.
